Cancellation Policy

At Casa Milana Apuseni, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. While we always aim to be as understanding and accommodating as possible, cancellations can significantly impact a small, family-run vacation home. This policy helps us protect the availability of our home while remaining fair to our guests.By confirming your reservation and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Cancellation Policy.

Non-Refundable Reservations

All reservations at Casa Milana Apuseni are made under a non-refundable booking policy. Once payment has been received, your reservation is secured exclusively for your stay and the booked dates are removed from availability. For this reason, payments already made are generally non-refundable.

Date Changes

If your travel plans change, we are happy to consider one complimentary date change, provided that: you notify us more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival.
If your requested new dates are available and the new reservation is of equal in value, we should be able to acomodate your request.
If the new stay is more expensive, the price difference will apply. Only one date change is permitted per reservation.

Cancellations Within 30 Days of Arrival

Reservations cancelled 30 days or less before the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

If We Are Able to Rebook Your Dates

If you cancel your reservation and we successfully rebook the same dates with another guest, we may, at our sole discretion, offer you a credit toward a future stay.
If offered, this credit:
- is valid for 12 months from the original arrival date
- is subject to availability
- is transferable
- cannot be exchanged for cash or a refund
The decision to issue a future stay credit remains entirely at the discretion of Casa Milana Apuseni.

Early Departures & No-Shows

No refunds or credits will be issued for: late arrivals, early departures, unused nights, no-shows.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip against unexpected events such as illness, accidents, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from traveling.

If We Need to Cancel Your Reservation

In the unlikely event that Casa Milana Apuseni is unable to honor your reservation due to circumstances within our control, you will be offered either:a full refund of all amounts paid, or the opportunity to reschedule your stay to alternative available dates.Casa Milana Apuseni shall not be responsible for additional travel expenses, accommodation costs, or other consequential losses incurred as a result of such cancellation.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that exceptional situations can arise. While this Cancellation Policy applies to all reservations, we encourage guests to contact us as soon as possible if unexpected circumstances affect their travel plans.Any exceptions to this policy are entirely at the discretion of Casa Milana Apuseni and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
