Welcome to Casa Milana Apuseni!

We're delighted you've chosen our mountain retreat for your stay. These Rental Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest while helping us care for our home for future visitors.

By confirming a reservation or making any payment towards your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Confirmation

A reservation becomes confirmed once:

• your booking request has been accepted;

• the required payment has been received;

• you receive a written booking confirmation from Casa Milana Apuseni.

Until then, requested dates remain available for other guests.

2. Minimum Stay

Minimum stay: 5 nights

Maximum occupancy: 6 guests
(recommended: 2 adults + 2 children)

Only registered guests may stay overnight.

3. Payments

Your booking confirmation will specify:

• accommodation price

• cleaning fee

• any applicable taxes

• payment schedule

Reservations are only guaranteed after the required payment has been received.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all payments made towards a reservation are non-refundable. By making a payment, the Guest acknowledges and accepts the Cancellation Policy and understands that payments already received by Casa Milana Apuseni will not be reimbursed in the event of cancellation, early departure, or failure to arrive (no-show), except where required by applicable law.

4. Security Deposit

We reserve the right to request a refundable security deposit before arrival.

If applicable, the amount and payment instructions will be communicated before check-in.

The deposit may be used only to cover:

• excessive cleaning

• missing items

• damage beyond normal wear and tear

Any unused balance will be refunded promptly after checkout.

5. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in 15:00 – 18:00

Check-out Before 11:00

Please inform us of your approximate arrival time at least 24 hours before arrival.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

• treat the property with care and respect;

• comply with the published House Rules;

• supervise children at all times;

• ensure pets remain under control;

• report any accidental damage or maintenance issues as soon as reasonably possible;

• leave the property in a reasonably tidy condition upon departure.

The person making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party throughout the stay.

7. Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party beyond normal wear and tear.

We understand that accidents can happen. We simply ask that any damage be reported promptly so that it can be resolved fairly and without unnecessary inconvenience.

8. Pets

Well-behaved dogs are welcome only with prior approval.

Unfortunately, cats cannot be accommodated due to allergy considerations.

Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning resulting from pets.

9. Respecting the Property

Guests agree to:

• use appliances responsibly;

• immediately report any accidental damage;

• avoid moving furniture without permission;

• avoid activities that could damage the property.

Accidents happen—we simply ask that you let us know promptly so we can resolve any issues together.

9. Damage

Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their party beyond normal wear and tear.

Whenever possible, we aim to resolve any issues fairly through communication before considering additional charges.

10. Mountain Property

Casa Milana Apuseni is located in the beautiful Apuseni Mountains.

Mountain weather may change quickly.

Guests acknowledge that:

• roads may become slippery during winter;

• winter tyres or snow chains may be necessary depending on weather conditions.

The final access road includes a 10% incline typical of mountain properties.

11. Liability

For everyone's safety:

• children should always be supervised;

• fireplaces, BBQs and outdoor fires must only be used according to provided instructions;

• candles should never be left unattended;

• emergency contact information is provided inside the cabin.
  

  Casa Milana Apuseni takes reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

  Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Romanian law.

12. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

• their own actions;

• the actions of everyone included in their reservation;

• following Romanian laws;

• respecting neighboring properties;

• ensuring children and pets are supervised at all times.

13. Right of Access

The Host may enter the property only when reasonably necessary, including:

• emergencies;

• urgent repairs;

• protecting the property;

• agreed maintenance.

Whenever possible, reasonable notice will be provided.

14. Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy applicable to your reservation will be confirmed during booking and forms part of your rental agreement.

15. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, governmental restrictions or other extraordinary circumstances.

16. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR regulations.

The property is equipped with exterior security cameras covering the entrance and outdoor areas for security purposes. No cameras or recording devices are located inside the accommodation.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Romania.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be handled by the competent Romanian courts.
